My grooming service is a concierge-style grooming service designed for convenience. I meet you at your home or an agreed-upon public location within my service radius, safely transport your dog to a trusted, fully equipped grooming facility, personally complete the groom one-on-one, and return your dog directly to you.  All services are performed in an established professional grooming space to ensure safety and quality care.

My pricing reflects the added convenience, transportation, scheduling flexibility, and dedicated one-on-one attention your dog receives. You don’t need to coordinate drop-offs, adjust your schedule, or wait at a salon.

Services begin at $100 for a Basic Wash and $130 for a Full Groom because this is a personalized, low-hassle experience that saves you time while maintaining professional standards.

Yes! This service is ideal for pet parents without transportation. I will meet you at your residence or a planned drop-off location within my service radius, transport your dog to the grooming facility, and return them safely once the service is complete.

Add-on Services

• Ear Care – $15 basic clean / $30 with hair removal

• Nails & Paw Trim – $15 paw trim / $10 nail trim / $20 both

• Sanitary Trim – $30 sanitary cut / $20 anal gland expression

• De-shedding Treatment – $25–$40 (based on size & undercoat)

• Specialty Shampoo (flea/tick or medicated) – $25

• Matted Fur – $30 + $30/hour for extensive dematting

First Pick Grooming operates across six communities in the Greater Vancouver region — Coquitlam, Burnaby, Pitt Meadows, Port Moody, Langley, and Downtown Vancouver. Each service area is measured from its city hall as a consistent, neutral centre point, giving every neighbourhood within that radius equal access to our services.

The stores listed within each area have been selected based on their existing grooming infrastructure, self-serve wash facilities, and openness to independent grooming partnerships — making them the most practical and welcoming locations for us to operate out of as we grow. As our network expands, so will the options available to you.

Your dog’s emotional and physical safety is my top priority. I practice compassionate, low-stress handling and move at your dog’s pace to create a calm, one-on-one grooming experience. Many dogs show fear-based behaviors when they feel overwhelmed, and my approach focuses on patience, gentle guidance, and reducing triggers whenever possible.

If your dog has a history of biting or significant anxiety, please let me know in advance so we can create a safe plan together. A liability waiver will be required, and safety tools such as a properly fitted muzzle may be used when necessary — never as punishment, but as protection for both your dog and groomer.

If at any point your dog becomes overly stressed or unsafe to continue, I will pause or stop the groom and notify you immediately. In some cases, shorter sessions, gradual desensitization, or veterinary support may be recommended. My goal is not just a completed groom, but a positive experience that builds trust over time.

I’m happy to provide photo updates during your dog’s appointment upon request. Photos can be sent via text message or a secure photo-sharing link. If you’d like progress updates during the groom, just let me know at booking and I’ll make arrangements.
